The repair tool is one of my favourite features of Amadeus Pro. It does take a bit of time and effort but I'd rather do it manually and check the result as I go along than trust an automated plugin. As far as I can remember export to iTunes hasn't worked for a while on my Mojave mac but I've a simple workaround:
Create an .m4a version of the sound file using:
File Menu > Save A Copy As > Apple MPEG-4 Audio (.m4a)
Then drag and drop the resulting .m4a file straight into iTunes.
