Reviewing my process I found the problem (a loose nut behind the keyboard... cough). I was using copy, from the sound document where I had setup the effects, and paste over into another sound document.

Real-time audio effects
Apparently real-time audio effects setup via the 'gear' at the right end of the track only apply to audio playback, and are not applied when saving the track, or bounce document to new file. True? I know how to use the audio effects from the main menu effects and then 'apply'. Just checking whether ...

ID3 compatibility with old Win Cool Edit program
Sometimes but not always my Amadeus Pro Version 1.5.2 (858) recognizes the ID3 v1 data that was previously entered by Cool Edit. I can see that this data exists in the MP3 file by running "ID3 Editor.app." This could be a fault in the old Cool Edit. I'm just wondering if anyone had experie...
