Re: Amadeus Pro won't open mp3 files
Try clicking command-i on the unopened mp3 file to get the information panel. Toward the bottom of the panel, find "Open with:" Choose Amadeus Pro to override the default. This should work, unless I misunderstood the problem.

How to remove labels from all markers
I can remove all the markers by opening the marker window, selecting all, and deleting. I can remove just the marker labels by double clicking on the label and deleting or overwriting. However, what I need is a way to remove all of the numbers and words from all of the markers without removing the m...

Amadeus Pro running on MacBook Air?
A clerk at the Mac store informed me that I should get the MacBook Pro retina if I was going to be using a program such as Amadeus Pro. The files I edit are frequently longer than two hours.
Can anyone here advise me if Amadeus Pro is working well on large files on the MacBook Air with Mavericks?

The Soundness Support people sent me a link to reinstall SoundSoap. The plug-in now appears in the menu. Problem solved!

Fast and Smooth removal
Thank you, that makes perfect sense. However, I am a novice, and see no way to force the curved line in the preset audio unit to curve in the opposite direction, although I can envision it. I do not know how to translate the diagram of Fast and Smooth to something I can manipulate more easily, like ...

Fast and Smooth removal
We have a series of lectures edited for content as well as to remove hundreds of coughs and scuffles. Fast and Smooth was applied to some of them during editing, but we have decided that the tapes sound better without Fast and Smooth. For one of the longest lectures in the series, there is no edited...

Using float, I get a straight line with no sound. The file that opens, however, is marked 24 bit rather than 32. I have opened it in 16, 24, and float now, and get the same result. It supposedly contains 536.9 MB of information. I noticed that some of the recovered files have 536.9 MB, while others ...

I am using AP 2.1.3; the original recording was in 32 bit. The import raw data dialogue does not have a setting for 32 bit. Of course, when attempting to recover raw data after a crash, I get the brief view of the waveform followed by solid blue and horrible hiss. Some of the files are merely a stra...

Can't use files restored from raw data
After a crash, I restored the temporary files using the import raw data function successfully. Although most of them seemed to be perfect copies of chunks of the original, some were jumbles of short repetitions of it. I hoped that those were the edits I had done. I put notes in the titles of each an...

Sandboxed save/open crash?
According to my manual, header size to use is zero. I presume you have already discovered the sample rate and format by inspecting your original. Using that information, my raw data imported nicely after the crash, but seems to be a jumble of segments to reconstruct, and the edits are seem to be gon...
