I have been using the Actions window and, as I remember, dragging some of the actions to the Favorites part of the window. I can no longer do that, cant drag any of them. Is it I have forgotten how to do it? Or is is not now working right? I am using Ventura OS.

If I am recording from a tape player and want to have the saved file be mono track and mp3 format, how do I set that up? I don't find anything in the manual about doing that. I do see "record to new document" and I can specify the output but do I need to do that every time? Or can I set up...

If I want to record from an external audio player and connect the player to a USB port, will Amadeus Pro recognize that input in Preferences? Or do I have to install a plugin or driver, or something like that?

Is there a way to remove room tone or hollow sound of voice from a recording? Not finding anything about it in the user manual.
I found, online, a plugin called Acon digital deverberate which is said to do it, but can't determine if it would work with Amadeus Pro.

When I amplify some of the track volume, the volume will pretty much go bottom to top on the track height. It does not show any warning or indications of a problem. I searched the user manual and cannot find a picture of the ideal volume level. Is there some place I can see what would be best for it...

I am working on a recording from a meeting I spoke at and when I speak the S sound seems a little loud or hisses or something. Is there a way to reduce this? My apology but I don't use Amadeus very often so not smart with it. If you have advice, gulp, keep it simple.

I have recordings that I downloaded, that cannot be redone. Sibilance is a problem. Any way in Amadeus Pro to reduce or remove these? Searching on line I seen reference to De-esser which apparently is a plug=in.

I am editing some talks given at a meeting and there are times when a person in the audience asks a question so I select that part and amplify the sound. Works OK but the sound not as sharp, maybe a little echo sound? Is there any way to adjust amplified sounds like this? To make them more legible? ...

You are right. More testing I see that when the two lower tracks (stereo) are expanded, THEN it navigates to them when I click on the window above. Does not play a sound, which I expected but I see now what it does.

Perhaps I misunderstand the manual. I am interpreting it to mean that I can click on that upper window and it will start playing from where I click it.
It makes no difference if the whole track is showing or only part of it, clicking on this top window track does not have any effect.
