Application put in account Applications folder

I upgraded to the latest version ( ia the “Check for Updates menu item.) But instead of it being put into the system Application folder (where the version I updated from was) the Installer put it into my Account Application folder. Can anyone shed some light on why this might have happened. Thanks.

Re: Recording sound from YouTube etc

I am not sure about "setting up a multi-output device" means. I followed the instructions; installed the plugpin (had to restart computer, not mentioned in ReadMe;) selected it in the System Preference Sound Tab; opened Amadeus Pro; chose Blackhole as input; and checked "playthrough (...

Re: Recording sound from YouTube etc

I tried this. It sounds like the talker is standing in a reverb chamber. How do I fix this, or how do I delete Blackhole. There is no uninstaller int he package.

Muffling a sound

Can someone help me come up with a way to muffle a sound. I want to take an underground explosion sound and "tone it down" or muffle it somewhat.

Re: Help with timeline

[quote="pm@philxmilstein.com"]If you can make do without silence between cycles of the clip, you might prefer to manipulate the duration of your soundfile via the Change Pitch and Speed command, which would allow you to adjust the duration while maintaining the original pitch. Alternately,...

Yes, I am trying to create a pseudo-loop. But it must have some dead space in it to line up with some animation that I am doing. GerardBik seems to have the right idea about inserting silence. But tell me, is ms mili-seconds? Are there 100 or 1000 ms's in a second?

Help with timeline

I have a short (8 sec.) sound clip that I need to repeat several times, starting at the 30 second mark and every 30 seconds for 6 times. But no matter what I try, I can't seem to get the timeline to expand past the first clip. What can I do? Thanks.

Wow MartinC you really know this product!! Does iVolume have a forum? I have a question or two, or three, about combining albums, doing all track individually or treating my library as one BIG library.

Yes, this looks like what I want. But going over the FAQs and Help I didn't see anything about reversing the process - for whatever reason.

Does it permanently modify the iTunes file? Does it work for iPods and CDs? I remember one other utility a while ago that would only work when playing in iTunes itself. It "remastered" on-the-fly. When I went to check out the price, I was forwarded to the Kagi website. My credit card compa...

Remastering iTunes Library

Sound Check never seems to work correctly for me. If I can get the sound balanced say for a CD, it is all wrong for my iPod. Is there some way I can "re-master" all my iTunes songs (those that are not protected) to the same audio level? Thanks.
