Request: Option to invert scroll wheel zooming direction
It would be great to have an option to invert the scroll-wheel zooming behaviour. Amadeus Pro uses the opposite orientation from Logic Pro 8 (i.e. Option-Command-scroll-wheel) and it's somewhat awkward switching between the two. You can, see the "Hidden Preferences" section of the manual....

Repairing pops in just one channel
Well, that would work fine for me. What's taking so long? The longer you take the less our money is worth! [Wink] Looks like I have to hurry up then ;-) I just updated the version at http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip to 1.2 beta 3. It does now play only one channel if you double-cl...

I am putting together the material Gerard Bik had saved and another old e-mail that I dredged up to describe exactly how I do the normalization for a CD. Thanks! I turned auto-pruning off on the forum, so that posts should stay more or less indefinitely now. Cheers, Martin HairerSoft http://www.hai...

For me it is a long time ago, but I seem to remember that Amadeus does not save at all in demo-mode. Maybe this is still the case. It does save in demo mode, it's just that the saving of large files (more than two minutes) is restricted to a total of 10 saving operations. I never really looked at G...

Repairing pops in just one channel
1: Space bar always equals playback of all tracks, and double-click always starts playback of just the currently active track OR CHANNEL(S). That's the one I was planning to implement. Unrelated note: Martin, working with your latest release (1.2.1 beta 2), I discovered that it silently fails to op...

Back to the Repair Centre. Amadeus II seems to have a couple advantages: Amadeus II doesn't care whether you last clicked on the sound window or on the Repair Centre window. For example, you can always undo (control-Z) the last repair while the Repair Centre is active. Amadeus II lets you manually ...

Version 1.2 fixes this problem. (I actually think that already 1.1 fixed it if I remember correctly.) AU Audio Unit Components/Plug Ins incompatible with Leopard?
Sorry, but I don't quite understand what the problem is *exactlly*. Presets work in version 1.2 exactly as they did in version 1.1. What did you try, what happened, and what did you expect to happen instead? Regards, Martin HairerSoft http://www.hairersoft.com/ ______________________________________...

I just tried http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip in Safari and there was no problem. Maybe you got the wrong link somehow? I don't know of a way to do this and the process sounds like it would be remarkably ugly. What does "like" another section mean -- how "like" is "like", what components should be considred in "like", absolute values, relative values, frequency distribution, s...

Copy and Pasting: Why a Progress Bar?
Copy a minute of audio to the clipboard and sit there and watch the progress bar go to work (and I'm using the newest, fastest iMac available with 4GB of RAM). Paste that audio into something and again watch the progress bar update. I got so annoyed after a few hours of using it that I went back to...

add silence between songs
i would like to add about two seconds of silence between songs on a track. Is there a function in Amadeus Pro that can do this? I haven't been able to find anything in the manual. When you burn to a CD, it will ask you for the spacing between songs. You can also add silence "by hand" usin...

Saving to Volumes Folder
I'm interested in finding out why/how Amadeus Pro allows saving to the /Volumes folder. How did you do that? I just tried and the file saving dialog doesn't show the /Volumes folder... Now on the other hand, the /Volumes folder is a folder like any other and, by default, it gives read/write privile...

Pitch lower in Amadeus Pro 1.2
When opening the pitch shifting effect dialog and playing a preview with pitch at 0 and speed at 100%, every thing is alright. But when I go back to the file, the pitch is lower again. You probably set it to play back at a lower pitch/speed without noticing. This can be changed in the "Playbac...

Will checkout the software you mentioned. Another way of transferring from iTunes is to burn an Audio CD (use a rewritable CD so you don't waste it) and then open the resulting files. This is probably even faster. I did have all tracks marked for playing, but I was double clicking a track and expec...
