When saving an edited file as mp3, all the info (meta data) are gone, even the artwork.
When I add the meta-data in iTunes to the file, some are still there if I open the file again in AP, but not all.

Any ideas?

Have got the AKAI MPK Mini MKII and it does its job fine.

@schneb it used to work any more, but also on the latest version (2.6) playback is gone while recording.

Did you try changing the Output Device on the System Preferences (Sound) panel as well?

why don't you just cut them once and then move each clip on a separate track in the order you wish (or 2 separate documents, one for the male one female voice) ?

would be fine to be able to do it in one app (like Amadeus), but in my case I'm using an app called "Audiobook Builder" (costs $4,95) and works very well, giving some useful extra functionalities on the spot.

Since upgrading to High Sierra the following happens: 1) merging a track with either previous or next merges the sound correctly, but in the window only the wave content(s) of the selected main track is shown. The final product is not visible as a normal-complete wave-form... 2) when a crash happens...

Hmm, under menu "Sounds" there's an item called "Join Files..." This adds the files in one new track, adding markers with their file names, where each one begins. Just take care to already collect them in the sequence you wish, since you can choose many at once. Once in the wavef...

I think you just have to add a new track (for your vocal) and hit record. If you haven't unchecked the little "play" square (next to track name & volume above the waveform) the existing track shall play along. To listen through headphones you've got to go to the "preferences"...

This seems to be a problem of mac OSX Capitan and later and (audio) bluetooth in general.
I don't use Bose, but sometimes it corrects itself if I change the order of starting up the app I use, set the bluetooth on, turn on the speaker...
