Though in my case making a selection in a track first makes no difference. The sound is still either Full or Off when slid to the furthest left.

That seems a bit odd :?: I’m still on Mojave 10.14.6 here and have no problems at all exporting directly to iTunes Library using the current Amadeus Pro v2.8.5. The only thing I can think would be to check to make sure; ‘Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library’, is enabled in iTunes...
