Multi Track Splitting and id3 tags

OK, it seems that iTunes does recognise track numbers correctly only if they are encoded as for example "7/12", whereas Amadeus Pro would encode them as "7 / 12" (with spaces around the slash). I've changed the beta version so it should work now. It should also fix the strange er...

Time-stretching with precision

Hi Tristan, the version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip now implements Apple's time-stretching algorithm. It is slower than SoundTouch, but the gain in quality more than makes up for it in my opinion ;-) It is also now extremely precise as far as the length of the resulting so...

Multi Track Splitting and id3 tags

In the meantime, have you seen or heard of this type of result? No, I haven't. I just tried to split a file into 22 tracks and I got expected results. Is there something else I can try? What about the version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip ? This is the latest beta version, ...

OK, the hidden "HSNameTracks" preference should do the trick. See Section 10 (page 29) in the manual. Regards, Martin HairerSoft http://www.hairersoft.com/ _______________________________________________ Amadeus forum mailing list Unsubscribe / change settings at http://two.pairlist.net/ma...

Multi Track Splitting and id3 tags

Issue 1 has lost me a fair bit of time too. After splitting a file into MP3s, I have to use MP3 ID3X (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/5840 ) (bulk ID tag editor) to add track numbers and track titles to the ID tags. Strange, I could have sworn that version 1.2.1 does this automatically, but yo...

Is it possible to save externally an Audio Units preset?

My MacBook Pro crashed so hard I had to reinstall the operating system. It's a long story, but I had to go from Leopard to Tiger. This process had the effect of erasing all my Graphic EQ presets. I would like to know whether it is possible to save my Audio Units to be loaded back later. I do see a ...

Batch process query

Thanks, Martin, but there is a different musical instrument on each track, and I am trying to get rid of one instrument/track so I can better hear the other one. If you double-click on the right track, it will play only that track. Regards, Martin HairerSoft http://www.hairersoft.com/ _____________...

Batch process query

Is there, by some miracle, a batch process that will remove the left track from every file in a folder and then make the remaining track mono? Thanks. CP No, but you can convert the files to mono which will merge the two tracks. Regards, Martin HairerSoft http://www.hairersoft.com/ ________________...

Playback before Insertion point

There is one function similar to that which is the 'e' shortcut. If you have a portion of sound selected, it will play a short time before the start of the selection, followed by a short time after the end of the selection. This allows to preview an edit before actually making it. Regards, Martin Ha...

In the version at <http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/AmadeusPro.zip> I added a 'g' shortcut to toggle between different states of the grid display. Time-stretching with precision

Might this be fixable, Martin? For version 1.3, I plan to replace the "SoundTouch" algorithm which Amadeus Pro is using at the moment by the one that Apple integrated into MacOS X. I have done some testing and it seems to give consistently better results. It is likely that this would also...

can you tell me how i can connect the files together to make one mix again out of it? Either copy/paste or Sound -> Join Files (in which case you'd have to convert to some proper file format first). Amadeus Pro UI Bug

If you are doing join multiple files you will be presented with dialog box where you add files to join. At the bottom of it there is a twisty "Resulting Quality". If you will resize this dialog box you will notice a very funny behavior when text and twisty are separated from each other. O...
