indeed it doesn't work for any settings for the mp3, but
for the .m4a if you choose "apple lossless" at the bottom of the list it does.

or one can just assign the plugins you mostly use at your own keyboard shortcuts via System Preferences / Keyboard...

simple and very fast, no need to use the mouse or menu.

During editing, I paste different parts of takes together for finalizing a track. If there's something selected on this track and I click to move the playback-head somewhere else, hitting play (space-bar) the head starts moving somewhere between the selection and the point I just let it play, thus, ...

It would save hours of editing work if one could give a different colour to clips or selections of a track.

Since markers apply to the whole timeline and not to individual tracks colouring clips or selections would be a blessing.

Please consider.

this happens to me with certain unregistered plug-ins I try out from time to time, but not with Amadeus itself.
