Re: Amadeus Pro inconsistencies with Apple Lossless

Would you be able to email me a link to one of these files? (Before it has doubled in size.)

Hi, could you please send me a link to a sample file? Thanks, Martin.

Re: Bug? 2 Sample Rate Converters = 2 different results

Which file format did you save to? If it wasn't a lossless format, you may just be seeing artefacts from the compression, rather than the rate conversion.

Re: Amadeus Pro inconsistencies with Apple Lossless

What was the original codec used? If the file was an AAC file to start with, this would explain what you see.

That's not possible, sorry, only Audio CD. Maybe someone else has suggestions for DVD Audio authoring software on macOS.

Re: Playback positions

If you have an audio interface with two stereo outputs, you can assign different outputs to "front" and "back" in its advanced settings. If you only have a single stereo output, then it has no effect.

Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro

The playback controller really only affects playback. However, you can achieve the same effect by using the "Change Pitch and Speed" effect with the corresponding settings after you've bounced the document.

Re: Merging Numerous Tracks & Keeping Same Volume Settings in Amadeus Pro

Isn't the "Bounce Document" function in the "Sound" menu what you are looking for?

Re: Export Markers: CUE File vs Marker Window Location

The reason are rounding errors in your calculation: 55 frames are 55/75 = 0.7333333 seconds, or 733.3 milliseconds. Add the offset of 12.9 and you get 746.2 which is the correct answer.

Re: Export Markers: CUE File vs Marker Window Location

Hi, the time format for cue files is MM:SS:FF where FF denotes "frames" (1/75 of a second), see the relevant Wikipedia page. Amadeus does then use the "REM Offset" fields which are officially ignored by the format to add an extra offset in milliseconds.

Re: How to keep envelope showing in panning mode?

That looks like a bug which I cannot reproduce right now. Could you send me a sample file as well as a copy of your preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.HairerSoft.AmadeusPro.plist) to martin@hairersoft.com so that I can try to fix this?

Re: Comparison chart question

Hi, what I meant by this is that you can have multiple sound clips on the same timeline that can be shuffled around independently. The screenshot at http://www.hairersoft.com/Downloads/Screenshot.png shows what I mean.
