Is it possible to change where the insertion point ends up after you delete a chunk of audio? Right now it snaps to the middle of the deleted section rather than the far right end, which means I then have to scroll allllllll the way over to where I want it to be.
For example, when I remove a large chunk of noisy "silence" from the show host in the left channel of the recording but preserve what the guest was saying during that chunk in the right channel, the insertion point pops to the middle of that huge passage after I delete it, instead of to the right where the host starts talking again. Like this...

That behaviour cannot be changed at the moment, but I agree that it is not a great choice. One possibility would be to change the behaviour to keep the sound selected in this case (since the other channel is unaffected), so you can then simply hit left or right arrow depending on where you want to go?

Oh, yes—that would be a good option! Thank you for your reply!
