performance problem
Dear Phil, what hardware are you using? (Model as shown in "About This Mac"...) Also, what shows in the top left corner of the sound window if you hit the '0' key? Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your attention to this matter. I'm using sn iMac, Retina 5K, 27", 2017. The processor is 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7. Hitting 0 in Amadeus shows Cocoa, whereas before the recent upgrade to Mojave it'd been Metal.

I am aware of this problem which also occurs on my older 2014 model 27'' iMac. I have reported this as a bug to Apple and they are investigating the issue. (It's not that Mojave completely broke things: it works fine on both my MacBook Pro and my wife's MacBook.) I hope that Apple will be able to fix this bug... Regards,
Martin

The problem also occurs on my mid-2012 Mac Pro. I installed a Metal
capable graphics card and was then able to install Mojave. I am
currently at 10.14.5. Amadeus Pro reports Cocoa when I type the zero key.

Thanks! Could you please give the precise hardware (including precise graphics card model as reported by "System Report") so I can feed back as much information to Apple as possible? Best,
Martin

The complete system report is rather large. I hope these parts will do. If not I can email the 5.4 MB file directly. On May 31, 2019, at 1:22 AM, forum_list-request@hairersoft.com (forum_list-request@hairersoft.com) wrote:

Is it something that might clear up with a retroversion to a prior version of A. Pro?

I would be very surprised since the problem appears to be with macOS...Is it something that might clear up with a retroversion to a prior version of A. Pro?

Hi Phil / Glenn, this is just to let you know that Apple appear to have fixed that bug in the developer beta of macOS 10.15. Regards,
