I can remove all the markers by opening the marker window, selecting all, and deleting. I can remove just the marker labels by double clicking on the label and deleting or overwriting.
However, what I need is a way to remove all of the numbers and words from all of the markers without removing the markers themselves. So far, the only way I have found to do so is to open the marker window and eliminate the titles individually. Is there a quick way to remove all at once while retaining the markers themselves?
How to remove labels from all markers

Re: How to remove labels from all markers
I just tried this, but I don't know if it's a good option for your case:
1) add a new marker somewhere
2) click on it to open the little dialogue box
3) delete any text you see in the "Name" field
4) go to the waveform/main window and add markers on the places you want.
Problem is that you've got to delete the old ones, which makes my suggestion useless, but
1) make an exact copy of the document (new Amadeus window) the same size as the original
2) place the 2 windows vertically exactly one below the other
3) in the new, lower placed window add the markers at the same positions as the upper ones (you need good eyes for this)
Alternatively,
1) open the markers' list (opt-M) and make a screenshot of it
2) add the markers on the exact positions that you see on the markers' list of the original document after you've deleted the old ones.
The therapy may be worse than the illness, but still
Good luck!
