I am looking to generate markers in a file in which the segments I want to save when splitting are marked by a discrete "beeps" Each beep is made up of two dominant frequencies, primarily 950 Hz with a 1180 Hz component. The rest of the content is almost all tones at 700 Hz, with occasional voice segments of short duration.
The silence on either side of the beeps is not of sufficient length to distinguish them from other silent periods. Even if I notch-filtered 950 and 1180 Hz, the resulting silence (silence before + length of beep + silence afterward) is still not distinctive.
Is there any way to generate markers at these beeps? There are thousands of them!
Tnx,
Wayne Durham
