distortion after 50 minutes

Hi, I seem to get distortion in my recordings after around 50 minutes. It seems to happen on several types of input. Tape cassette or vinyl records.

Hi, does this happen only with Amadeus or also if you simultaneously record in some other software, like QuickTime Player?

Hi Martin, I just tried with Q Time and got the same. Seems it could be the USB sound card I'm using. Thanks for the tip though. :D

Interesting, no idea if this is related, but on some Zoom calls I am told that I am distorting after a time. It could well be 50 minutes. I have to change the input mic, I have several options, and this cures it. The options are the MBP mike, Beats Pro BT earpieces and a wired mike to a thunderbolt hub. Only happened with more recent versions of Big Sur.
