I need to batch convert HD tracks to a file format that can be copied to an iPhone, like those created by iTunes.
I set up a batch to save files as AAC at 256 kbps, and the field preserved bit depth, which is greyed out, is set at 16 bit.
When I process a 96 kHz file, Amadeus gives me a file with a bit depth of 48 kHz.
These files will not copy to my iPhone. I need to be able to convert them to the standard 44.1 kHz in order to copy them.
How do I do this, since I cannot change the bit depth in Amadeus?
Convert .m4a files with lower bit depth

Hi, you can add an "Action" to your batch processor which converts the sound to 44.1kHz before saving. (Click on the "+" icon and select "Sound Quality -> Change Quality".)

Thank you.
I hadn't noticed the control I could have by adding actions. Very useful!
