What's new in Amadeus Pro 2.8.9 (2629) ?

I assume you mean version 2.8.11 which was released today. It's mainly bug fixes, in particular one that would prevent some Audio Units from running, one that could cause crashes when opening an AIFF file with markers that were created by Amadeus and then edited by third-party software, and one that could cause crashes when pasting a sound into one of the channels of a stereo track. There are also cosmetic fixes to the toolbar on macOS Ventura.
