Selecting multiple pieces of audio at the same time

How can I select multiple pieces of audio at the same time.

Sometimes I've found times where I needed to select say ten audio clips on two different tracks and move them all at the same time back, or forwards, a bit to fit something in (such as a new version recording) and I've been having to do it manually, i.e. move them one clip at a time, which messes up all the hard work I'd put in lining them all up perfectly.
